PRIVACY POLICY

The NMMF collects unrestricted donations on behalf of VaquitaCPR to support our mission. If you believe that an error has been made in connection with your online donation, contact us at info@nmmf.org. We will endeavor to work with you to correct any such error, and if necessary, make any refund or correction that is appropriate. If you change your mind about donating online to the NMMF, the NMMF is happy to honor your decision as long as you request a refund (return of donation) within 14 calendar days of the date on which you made the contribution. To request a refund, email info@nmmf.org. Refunds will be issued as a credit to the credit card used for the original donation.

The National Marine Mammal Foundation (NMMF) values and respects its donors’ right to privacy. It affirms that its fund-raising practices protect against unauthorized use of its contributor lists, and permits no general telephone solicitation of the public. NMMF utilizes donors’ personal information such as names, mailing addresses and email addresses only for purposes of donor acknowledgment and/or when an individual voluntarily provides this information and opts to join our mailing list. NMMF does not share donors’ personal or contact information with any third party organizations for purposes of solicitation. NMMF strives to ensure that all donors who request acknowledgment receive appropriate acknowledgment in an orderly, timely and effective manner. Visitors to the NMMF Web site remain anonymous. NMMF does not require visitors to register or provide personal information to view the site. There are instances when site visitors are asked for additional information in order to provide requested services. For example, information will be requested when making an online donation to NMMF so that the gift may be properly processed and receipted. All credit card transactions are conducted over a secure server. NMMF welcomes comments and questions about this policy. We are committed to protecting your personal information, and will make every reasonable effort to keep that information secure.
